Walkthrough of opening the pouch, sampling urine, timing, and handling the strip.
Over-the-counter · Urine test strip
CheckFor UTI detects leukocytes (white blood cells) and nitrite in urine to help screen for urinary tract infection. Clear results at two minutes. Not for sale online — find it at a store near you.
For screening only. Always follow the Instructions for Use and speak with a healthcare professional about symptoms or treatment.

The CheckFor UTI strip is a firm plastic strip with two test pads. It qualitatively detects leukocytes and nitrite in human urine as an aid in screening for UTI. It is intended for near-patient and over-the-counter home use.

Read each pad at 120 seconds (2 minutes). Do not read after 180 seconds (3 minutes). Match pad colors to the chart on your foil pouch in bright, natural light.
Always read the full Instructions for Use in your package before testing.
Remove the strip when you are ready. Keep the pouch — the color chart is printed on it. Do not use if the pouch is torn or damaged.
Urinate on the pads for 1–2 seconds midstream, or collect urine in a clean cup and dip the pads for 1–2 seconds. Ensure pads are fully wet.
Touch the edge of the strip to absorbent paper to wick excess. Lay the strip pads-up and start your timer immediately.
Compare each pad to the matching color blocks on the foil pouch. Hold the strip close for an accurate match.

How to read leukocyte and nitrite pads against the color chart and what to do next.
Interpretation is always by comparing pads to the foil pouch chart. The leaflet in your box explains combinations in detail. Below is a simplified overview — not a substitute for the IFU or medical advice.
No sign of UTI detected on this screen. If you still have symptoms, contact a clinician — some UTIs may not be detected.
Certain combinations suggest signs of UTI. The IFU tells you exactly when to repeat the test or seek care immediately. Do not delay speaking with a healthcare professional if you feel unwell.
You can test any time, but first-morning urine often has the highest concentration if infection is present. Avoid testing during menstruation.
Some drugs and supplements change urine color, which can make color matching harder. Large amounts of vitamin C may cause false negatives. Do not use while taking antibiotics. When in doubt, ask your clinician.
Contact your physician or healthcare professional. Diagnosis and treatment should not be based on a single test.
